  I was sent to see Sandra for therapy after being in the psych hospital ward for a suicide attempt. I had just recently lost my father to cancer and it was weighing on me, to say the least. Sandra wasn't who I expected to see to be frankly honest, I was looking for someone much older with more life experience, etc etc. BUT much to my surprise, I was warmly received at my first appointment by a young, at that time pregnant, sweet, soft spoken & very caring individual. I understand Sandra no longer works at this facility because she sent me a letter in the mail discussing her leaving; this was almost 1 year after I was no longer seeing her for therapy. If that doesn't tell you how special this person is then I'm not sure what will. To this very day, when things get difficult or out of hand, I remember some of the techniques she told me about to be able to pass a hard moment & to allow myself to stay present, not letting grief completely overwhelm me. Sandra is a fantastic therapist, counselor, psychologist, etc. whatever you prefer to call her profession. She listens, gives feedback when needed, NEVER cancels an appointment on you, is warm & kind which makes for the most comfortable atmosphere that really does help you with your human issues. If anyone is considering seeing her for something similar as I did, I 100% recommend you do. Sandra is wonderful, and as a thankful patient I hope all is well for her, just as I'm sure she does for me.
